چکیده
İspanya Vizigot Krallığı, Avrupa Erken Orta Çağ tarihinin önemli krallıklarından birisidir. Roma İmparatorluğu'nun ihtişamını ve gücünü kaybetmesiyle birlikte topraklarına Germen istilaları başlamış zamanla otoritesinin ortadan kalkmasıyla krallıkları tarih sahnesinde yerini almıştır. kabilelerden olan Gotlar, IV. Yüzyılda iki büyük kola ayrılmıştır. Batı Gotları olarak tanımlanan Vizigotlar, İmparatorluğu tarafından 418’de Akitanya bölgesine yerleştirilmiştir. Vizigot/Toulouse Roma’ya askerlik hizmeti veren federe bir krallıktır. Roma’nın sadık müttefikleri yıllarca hizmet etmişlerdir. 466’da ağabeyi Theoderic’i öldürerek tahta oturan Euric, İmparatorlukla foedus antlaşmasını feshetmiş krallığının sınırlarını Akitanya’nın dışına çıkararak yarımadasına kadar genişletmiştir. Euric’in sağlam dış politikası siyasi hamleleri başarılarını da beraberinde getirmiştir. Kral haleflerine bağımsız güçlü krallık bırakmıştır. Krallığı'nın gelişimi dönüşümü Euric döneminde gerçekleşmiştir. Bu makalede mimarı dönemi incelenecektir.
